| Additional information | Sirolimus is an immunosuppresant drug used to prevent organ graft rejection. Therapeutic drug monitoring is used to optimize dose. This method yields results approximately 20% higher than the Abbott IMx immunoassay due to improved extraction and recovery of sirolimus from whole blood samples.
