Collection kits, containing swabs and UTM medium, can be obtained from Moffitt-Long Microbiology Laboratory or Mount Zion Virology Laboratory. All specimen types must be submitted in this medium. If a swab specimen is to be collected, use swab in this kit for specimen collection and bend or break swab to fit inside tube of UTM medium. |
