| Additional information | Influenza Type A and B viruses cause seasonal outbreaks of "the flu". Each winter, approximately 10-20% of the population are infected. Both Type A and B are included in the flu vaccine. Single titers of ≥ 1:64 indicative of recent infection. Titers of 1:8 to 1:32 may be indicative of either past or recent infection, since CF antibody levels persist for only a few months.
