|Additional information||Should be ordered after a screening Protein Electrophoresis. To characterize immunoglobulin class and light chain type of paraproteins. Will also detect small amounts of paraprotein despite normal Serum Protein Electrophoresis. Will only be performed for Cryoglobulin after an assay for Cryoglobulin, Quantitative, has demonstrated a cryoprecipitate sufficient in amount for a successful analysis.
An interpretation of this test by a laboratory physician will automatically be performed and billed for separately.
