Additional information Oxazepam (Serax(R)), an antianxiety agent, is an active but less potent metabolite of diazepam, nordiazepam, and chlordiazepoxide.

Clorazepate is a benzodiazepine used to treat anxiety. It has CNS depressant effects. The primary metabolite, nordiazepam is measured by this assay.
