Neuroleptic drugs cause increased N-Desmethyl Clomipramine.

There is great variability of N-Desmethyl Clomipramine to Clomipramine ratio of approximately 2-6:1. The above ranges are a consensus of several publications. The distribution of individual patient concentrations is not normal. The most common side effects are dry mouth, somnolence, and tremor.
