| Additional information | This test was performed using a laboratory developed electrochemiluminescent method. Values obtained with different assay methods cannot be used interchangeably. Chromogranin A levels, regardless of value, should not be interpreted as absolute evidence of the presence or absence of disease. For those patients whose clinical condition is currently being monitored with the Chromogranin A test, rebaseline testing is available from 07/12/10 to 10/08/2010 at no additional charge. You may order a Chromogranin A test that includes rebaseline testing by ordering Test Code 16380-Chromogranin A, ECL, with Re-baseline or by calling the laboratory. The specimen will be stored for 21 days from the receipt of the specimen. |
