Reflex? An in-date Type and Screen specimen is required before blood products can be set up. To minimize delays in product availability, if the provider mistakenly places an order for a duplicate ABO/Rh confirmation test, the Blood Bank will reflexively convert that order to a Type and Screen test (test code TYSC)
