Utilization Guidelines This test should be ordered in conjunction with the TLC assay (MPSTLC) when establishing or confirming a diagnosis of mucoplysacharidoses.

Once the diagnosis and type of mucoplysaccharidoses is established in a given patient monitoring typically only requires the quantitative assay be performed.
