Additional information IgD molecular weight 185 kD is one of the 5 classes of human immunoglobulins. IgD accounts for less than 1% of the total plasma immunoglobulins. Very high serum IgD concenrations are found in the multiple myeloma patients. Raised levels are also found in the hyperimmunoglobulinemia IgD syndrome (HIDS).
