Residents can spend four weeks at Genentech, the renowned biotechnology company in the Bay area. During this rotation, residents will be exposed to the role of the pathologist in biotechnology, the development of biomarkers for disease progression and therapeutic responses, and molecular pathology testing in clinical trials.
