The UCSF Clinical Laboratory Medicine Service works closely with the UCSF Clinical Hemostasis and Thrombosis Service. The expertise of both the clinical hematology and clinical laboratory services is available both to current UCSF patients, and for testing and patient referrals.

The UCSF Laboratory Medicine Service includes a comprehensive coagulation laboratory. The service includes resident, fellow and attending physicians in laboratory medicine who work with the clinical services to evaluate, diagnose and treat patients with disorders of hemostasis and thrombosis.
