Surgical Pathologist - U. of Missouri
The Department of Pathology and Anatomical Sciences at the University of
Missouri School of Medicine is seeking an academically-oriented surgical
pathologist, with academic rank and track based on academic record (open rank).
The duties of this position include services in general surgical pathology, and
teaching medical students and residents. The collegial environment provides
substantial opportunities for intellectual creativity and research. Applicants
should be committed to excellent patient care, as well as teaching and
scholarship. Candidates must have an MD or DO, be qualified for an
unrestricted Missouri medical license, and have certification (or eligibility
for certification) by the American Board of Pathology. Preference will be
given to candidates who have an area of subspecialty interest, especially
hematopathology, cytopathology, or breast pathology, and have experience
sufficient to satisfy criteria for appointment as Assistant Professor.
Fellowship training in these subspecialty areas is preferred. Applications
