Surgical Pathologist - Allegheny General Hospital
Surgical Pathologist The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Allegheny General Hospital (AGH), a part of West Penn Allegheny Health System, is seeking a surgical pathologist who is Board-certified or Board-eligible in Anatomic Pathology and eligible for medical licensure in the state of Pennsylvania. Specialty interests or expertise is desired but not limited to hematopathology, urologic pathology, or dermatopathology. The clinical service includes approximately 22,000 surgical pathology cases and approximately 20,000 cytopathology cases. Clinical and translational research opportunities are available and the candidates are eligible for academic appointments at Drexel University College of Medicine and Temple University School of Medicine. The department has a pathology residency program and fellowships in cytopathology and surgical pathology.
