Director of Molecular Pathology - U. of Toledo
University of Toledo Medical Center College of Medicine Department of Pathology Director of Molecular Pathology. The Department of Pathology at the University of Toledo College of Medicine (formerly the Medical College of Ohio) (www.utoledo.edu/med/depts/path/) is seeking a full-time, tenure track, academic molecular pathologist to establish, develop, and direct a new laboratory section in Molecular Pathology. This is a unique and exciting opportunity. The University Hospital Laboratories have a new, state-of-the-art Microbiology section with emphasis on modern molecular diagnostic techniques, and the new Molecular Pathology section will build on and be developed in coordination with these capabilities. Applicants must possess an M.D. or PhD degree with special training and certification in Molecular Pathology. Additional expertise in microbiology is desirable. M.D. applicants must be eligible for licensure in Ohio. Competitive salary and a generous fringe benefits package are offered.
