Academic Surgical Pathologist-Cytopathologist - U. of Toledo

ACADEMIC SURGICALPATHOLOGIST - CYTOPATHOLOGIST

The Department of Pathology (www.utoledo.edu/med/depts/path/) at the University
of Toledo (formerly the Medical College of Ohio) is seeking full-time, tenure
track, academic pathologists in surgical pathology and cytopathology. Primary
responsibilities will be in diagnostic surgical pathology and cytopathology, as
well as teaching and independent or collaborative research. Special expertise
in breast pathology is particularly desirable. Applicants must possess an M.D.
or equivalent degree, must be AP or AP/CP Board Certified or eligible, and must
be eligible for licensure in Ohio. Academic rank and salary will be
commensurate with training, experience, and academic record. Toledo is a
vibrant mid-sized city located at the western tip of Lake Erie, with excellent
public schools, a low cost of living and thousands of acres of city parks.
Toledo was recently ranked as one of the three most livable cities of its size
worldwide (along with Malmo, Sweden and Lyon, France) in the international
