Research and Clinical Interests

Our laboratory studies the transport-based control of oncogenic signaling. In order to coordinate the events of cell growth, division, and transformation, signaling modules must be properly routed by the transport machinery of the cell. We are identifying transport proteins that support oncogenic signaling and tumor maintenance and will use this knowledge to develop unconventional approaches to cancer therapy.
